My Baby is as big as a: Head of Cauliflower

Weight Gained: 9-12 pounds. My pre-pregnancy weight was 128. I somehow lost 3 pounds in the first 2 months. I have a feeling the scale may have been off. From here on out I’m going from my pre-pregnancy weight… so 9 pounds. Looking forward to rapid weight gain in the third trimester, grow baby, grow! (But not too big, those newborn outfits are so cute!)

Symptoms: Ever get growing pains as a kid? I’ve been getting them in my calves and ankles. They are more achy than crampy… mostly just annoying.

Food Cravings: Same old, I ate a lot of tiny little deserts in Mexico.

Food Aversions: Nada.

Sleep: I woke up with a sore back a few times on our trip. A pillow between my knees seemed to fix that. I am happy to be sleeping comfortably in my own bed again.

Miss Anything? I missed drinking/partying in Mexico. Destination wedding with 87 of the bride and grooms nearest and dearest… it was tough to be the pregnant chick.

Looking forward to: Registering for my Baby Shower! I met up with a girlfriend this week and she gave me her ‘must register for list’. Such a huge help. Note to self: share on blog.

Belly Button in or out? More out than in.

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy… most of the time.

New Baby Items: Our friend found this little gem. So cute.


We bought furniture this week! A few of our friends recommended this website: roomstogrow.ca. We drove out to Oakville to visit the home office and showroom. We love the stuff we chose, delivery arriving in 6 weeks!

A quick trip to Pottery Barn Kids to select a few choice pieces for our registry and we ended up coming home with beautiful Addison Blackout Panel Curtains, white and grey. I can’t wait to put them up! We moved our couch out of the office today… it’s happening!

Maternity Clothes: I found a long sleeve purple shirt for $5 dollars at Target!

A few hotel workouts… nothing crazy or sweaty.
