Weight Gained: ??? I haven’t been on a scale since last week.
Symptoms: None really this week, light cramping. My belly’s growing!
Movement: Sometimes I can feel a little pulsing in my stomach, no distinct movement yet.
Food Cravings: Ice Cream again… although, I haven’t had any. 😦
Food Aversions: Anything I have to cook. My appetite is great, I have just felt too tired to put any effort into making a meal.
Sleep: Late nights this week. When I did sleep, I slept well.
Stretch Marks? Nope
Miss Anything? I missed wine this week, especially at work functions. Having a drink is so social. Thank goodness I can tell people I am pregnant. I wouldn’t have been able to fake it through the holiday season.
Looking forward to: Decorating the babies room! Now that we know the gender we can start thinking about the nursery.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Happy or moody most of the time? I was definitely moody this week; ups and down and a little on edge. I blame it on the lack of exercise.
Maternity Clothes: Nothing new this week.
New Baby Items: Babies first outfit!
Exercise: This week was busy and I didn’t do much of anything… I managed to get a quick treadmill run in on Tuesday. Yes… a treadmill run. I felt like I had to pee the whole time, but I pushed through it. It felt pretty awesome.
We wanted to do something really fun to announce the gender of our baby. I love the idea of asking the ultra sound technician to write down the results and deliver them in a sealed envelope. Originally we had thought about heading to the store, choosing two outfits, one for a boy and girl and asking the clerk to wrap the appropriate outfit. Neither of us could wait that long.
We found out at the Ultra Sound and saved the fun for Jeff’s family! We celebrated Christmas with his family Friday night because we’re in Calgary this year for Christmas. We went strait from the hospital to Target to pick out our babies first outfit.
Boy or Girl?
Jeff and I were so excited we actually high-fived when we found out. We were hoping for a boy. (I still want a little girl, I am happy that she will/would have a big brother.)
