Happy Thanksgivukkah! American Thanksgiving and the beginning of Hanukkah were on the same day this year. This won’t happen again until 2070! Hope everyone had a wonderful day with family and friends.
Random things Fueling Happy this week:
1. New Boots! I know material things aren’t supposed to be the source of happiness, but who doesn’t love new boots?
My search for the perfect pair of tall black boots has been going on for 3 years. This was the THIRD pair I bought this season (I returned the other two). Ridiculous right? I had to spend a little more than I wanted but I love this pair, MICHAEL by MICHAEL KORS from Capezio Shoes. I got them a couple of weeks ago and they are already my favourite.
The other two pairs I got at the Nine West Outlet. The black ankle boots are perfect for work and I’ve been meaning to pick up a pair of brown combat boots for a while; BOGO was the perfect opportunity.
It’s hard to see but I am sporting the Nine West black booties and a little baby bump!
2. Remember in the summer when we got Lost in the Junction and found an old factory cart at an antique store? Jeff refinished it and I am super impressed.
3. I was at a conference Monday to Wednesday so I stayed downtown for two nights. (I only live about 15 minutes away, but with traffic, late nights and early mornings I opted for the hotel.) How could this not put a smile on your face?
4. I had a LONG day Thursday, the last thing I wanted to do was make dinner. There is nothing better than when someone else cooks for you. Jeff forced me to take a quick nap while he made me dinner. 🙂 It wasn’t turkey, but just what I needed.
We find out the gender of our baby today! Any guesses???
