I have a flexible work schedule which means I have the option to work an extra 60 minutes everyday, leave early every other Friday, AND take every other Monday off. I think it’s safe to say, I’ve finally got this work/life balance thing figured out. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to participate in…
Monday Morning I slept in till 8:00 am. Jeff made coffee and went straight for the left over waffles. NOOO!!! … I had plans for those. We ended up having granola with banana slices and cranberries.
I always try to have dried cranberries on hand, they make everything better. Specifically cereal and salad. I also love PC branded food. We get it at Loblaws; they have a Blue Menu line to make healthier choices easier.
I spent the morning running errands and got a quick workout in. PS Going to the gym at 11:00 am is awesome.
For lunch we had a second breakfast.
After a nap, a 10 minute arm work out, a walk with Rosie and a quick trip to the grocery store I was hungry again.
I usually have class Monday nights, but this week was cancelled. Subsequently, so was my plan to have Subway for dinner… next week. Instead I made chicken stir fry.
My Grandparents gave us this Breville wok as a house-warming gift and we absolutely love it! It’s so great to cook with and easy to clean.
We decided to watch a movie and rented World War Z on demand. Naturally we also had to do an ice cream run.
Cookie dough WITH brownie chunks… so good! Especially with the added chocolate chips.
