Summer must be getting close. The thought warmer weather is drawing everyone outdoors. If you live in Canada, you know patio seasons starts as soon as the temperature hits the teens: 13C / 55F.
I’ve been so busy it hasn’t left much time for blogging. Let me catch you up on this weeks happy fuel.
Saturday – 5K Run – I met up with my dear friend, Emma. We went shopping on Queen St. and then hit up a local patio for beers. She lives in Vancouver but travels a lot for her job, lucky for me, Toronto included. With all the time and distance between us we somehow still ended up dressed the same. Emma writes the awesome blog, theheartyheart.com. It was great to chat blogging, fitness and of course catch up on our lives. (…to be continued, can’t wait to see you again in Florida, 2 more weeks!)
Sunday – Rest Day – I took my husband and dog for a walk. Probably my ideal Sunday morning. Fresh coffee (with delicious french vanilla creamer), my loves and a 7K stroll. Thanks map my run.
Monday – Step I, CX WORX – Rainy Day, met up with the ladies for Korean BBQ and Yorgurty’s!
Tuesday – BodyFlow – I headed downtown after work for some patio eats and MLB. Jays Games are one of my favourite things about Toronto summers. And they won!
Wednesday – Unplanned Rest Day – Work and my social life caught up with me. Easy dinner, bed early.
Thursday – 30 min Elliptical – Back to Queen St. (I literally parked in the same spot) for dinner on a patio with some old friends. Good chats and lots of laughs. Note to self: See these girls more.
Friday – BodyStep – A night at home! I made steak fajitas and we finally saw Silver Lining Playbook! You know how I love Jennifer Lawrence. I also loved this movie. I usually am not one for dramas, but I would highly recommend this one.
And were back to Saturday – Run 4 miles – Dinner plans tonight, headed to a patio first. Yes, on Queen St W, oddly enough right across the street from where I was Thursday night. I am considering moving down there.
Have a great weekend!
Is it patio season where you are?
See any great movies lately?
