I don’t know how I expected to start a blog just one season into LOST.  I don’t want to do anything else in my spare time but watch another episode.  (I just opened Netfilx up in another window so I could do both.)It’s been a few days since my last/first post so allow me to catch you up on the meals that I felt compelled to take photos of, don’t worry, there are only three.
1. Steak, Mushrooms and Cupcake

We rarely eat steak, but once in a while Jeff comes home with a couple.  The most important part of this photo is the Red Velvet Cupcake wine.  It’s a California Cab Sauv and my new favourite.
2. Everything is Better with Bacon.

Lettuce, Bacon, Tomato, Blue Cheese, Cheddar, Avacado with an Oregano dressing.  I could eat this everyday for a week and not get sick of it.  I will have to start buying more bacon.
3. Veggie Lasagna

Roasted sweet potato, spinach, Alfredo sauce and mozza.  I had it for lunch and dinner.  I took a photo of it cold.

Pretty quiet weekend.  We went to the movies for the first time since the Hunger Games came out.  Going to the theater just seems like a waste of money to me.  I would way rather wait until it comes out so I can cozy up with a glass of wine.  We went with my nieces and saw Pitch Perfect.  I did not expect to laugh that hard!  I also didn’t realize how much I love Ana Kendrick.  Then we went to WINNERS and found this gem.


Awesome right?
